Happy Monday!  Did anyone get/do anything super-super extra sweet for Mother’s Day??  Please share!  I’d love to hear how sweet your day was!

Speaking of sweet, these little yummies arrived Saturday, from April at Jane Says…isn’t everything so cute and colorful??  Love love love!  The birdie card arrived just in time for Lily to give to grandma for Mother’s Day!  Skip on over to her shop–you’ll be glad you did!

Ooooh cherries, cherries, cherries!  I love cherries, don’t you??  Not only do I love to eat them, I love to buy cute little girl clothes with cherries on them.  Couldn’t leave these things behind—-had to have them!  Aren’t they super sweet??  Gymboree is a horrible, horrible place.  They suck me in like a bad drug every time there is a sale!  I can’t stand it any more!  I am willing my next child to be a boy…..seriously!  (if you have a girl, you know what I mean).

And, these little hair pretties–these hold Lil’s hair so good, love em!

And lets not forget the little chubby feet that need shoes!  Aren’t these scrumptious!  Where are the mommy version of these??

Now that mom’s day is offically over, time to bring in the stuff for dads at Lemon Tree!  Be on the lookout for cards and little gift ideas, like this “Me & Dad” book that you can fill with journaling and your favorite pictures…a perfect Father’s Day gift!  Head on over to the shop if you wanna catch a glimpse of what’s inside this little “book” for dad!

Don’t forget to tell me your Mother’s Day sweet happenings!

We had gramma and papa over and grilled yummy food, recorded lots of fun memories on the cam, took a boatload of pictures, played, laughed and tried to stay warm (it was only 40 degrees here yesterday!).

HAPPY MONDAY!

  1. Oh my! I think if I knew you we could be friends…I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Gymbo! I mean, seriously! The stuff you bought is absolutely adorable! I did manage to steer clear of the cherry stuff but my darling daughter has WAY more than she needs!

Love your blog…I have had Lemon Tree bookmarked in Etsy for awhile now but just put all the pieces together!! :)

By the way…as I scrolled through some of your recent entries I came across the one of the rainbow hat…I must admit that I had to order that same one! The colors are amazing and so fun and bright!! Thanks for sharing!!

Keep the inspiration coming! Love it!!

  2. so glad that card made it on time….those little outfits are precious….I love little baby clothes..and yes especially girls….those glasses…adorable…..

    have a happy day

  3. Those cherries should be illegal. I would be a very rich woman if I had two boys instead! I gave Someday to my sister in law for her first Mother’s Day (after 5 years of infertility and 3 failed adoptions). I had to tell her she couldn’t read it until after we all left though. Didn’t want her to spend dinner in tears!

  4. Julie, what a great idea to give that book as a mom’s day gift! how wonderful!! thank you for spreading the love!

  5. Thanks for sharing your Mom’s Day experiences and your lovely cards. The day before Mother’s Day, dh and I delivered 30 bouquets of roses to Moms and other sweet ladies. The story is on my blog just down a post or two!

  6. Such cute things!! I love girl clothes–I get so sick of trucks, dinosaurs and sports!! Thankfully, my “job” is to help my friend with her daughter and I get to enjoy her wardrobe. How can you not buy that stuff?? :)
