  Happy Friday!

I wanted to start the morning with a glimpse at my pretty Lemon Balm plant…it’s so yummy…I’m always rubbing the leaves so it’ll give off that perfect lemon aroma…I love adding this to my tea!  And, there’s Lemon’s friend, orchid, peeking in….oh, how I love summer with all the blooms!

Another reason to love summer?  All the little birdies….and our backyard is a bird sanctuary, seriously!  You can’t even sleep with the windows open around here or you’ll hear hundreds of birds singing loudly in your ears ar 3:45am!  I think this may be the reason why we do not have that many mosquitos around our house.  Can you believe I have not gotten one single bite from a mosquito yet?  *fingers crossed*

These cute little bird houses were calling out my name when I spotted them….

Gonna pretty them up….wait and see!

And, the reason you love to come here on Fridays??  Here it is……

Two freebies this Friday!  A tissue cozy and a trio of fabric covered button hair pretties, made using Heather Bailey’s Freshcut fabrics.

p.s.  if you have not already done so, and you’re a fabric junkie like me, you must stop over to her blog and see her new collection of fabrics…they are breathtaking…so full of color and fun!!  Can’t wait to get my grubs on some!

♥ ♥ ♥

SO, here’s the deal for this weeks ♥FREEBIE FRIDAY♥……since I’m giving away some hair pretties and a tissue cozy…..you gotta leave a comment to this post, answering this question:

What was the last movie you cried at?

You know the drill…..Lily will randomly pick a name on Sunday night!  So, get thinkin and commenting and maybe you can nab these little freebies!  By the way, the last movie I cried at was…The Great Debaters….doesn’t take much for this gal.  I mean, I cried watching the movie Knocked Up…..but, I know it was because I was preggers at the time.

Loving trees?  Well, I am!  Stop on by the SHOP for some crafty goodness and these cute tree tags!

 Have a fun filled weekend!

  1. The last movie I cried during…?? That’s a tough one. I cry every single day of my life, for one reason or another. Haha. I think it was…The Atonement, maybe? I know, I know…

  2. The last movie I cried too was “stomp the yard” I know weird, but great movie & the beginning is so sad!! I watch it at least 3 times a week!!! whenever it’s on cable:)

  3. Ok…so I can’t recall the last movie I cried at! We RARELY watch movies…it just isn’t that practical now that we have two busy kids and I am WIPED out in the evenings!!

However, I am a sucker for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and cry in just about EVERY episode of that if it counts?!!

Anyway, I mostly wanted to comment on those birdhouses…I have a feeling they are going to be fabulous when you are done! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!!

  4. Good Morning Shelly! I’m looking forward to see what you do with the cute little birdhouses. Okay, I won last week…should I be in the drawing again?! I acting greedy, aren’t I?!!…lol. I watched the movie “The Notebook” the other night. It’s an older movie but I had never watched it. How sad was that movie at times, a tear jerker in some parts. Have a great Friday!

  5. You are the Lemon Queen my friend….do you love all things lemon??

ya know…I dont see too many movies anymore…so a TV show will have to do….almost any episode of Grey’s Anatomy….

    have a happy day

  6. Hi Shelly~How are you and that Beautiful Lily doing? We are great! So, the last movie I cried at was actually an old one~The Wedding Planner~It’s so romantic and funny and beautiful all at the same time. For some reason I cry every time I watch it. Tears of joy, laughter and love!
I’m making Lily a little gift! I want to so hush. Nothing big, just something I like to to and do it all the time for Layli.
Have a great weekend and xoxoxoxo to Lily

  7. I love my little lemon balm plant too! I keep mine in my kitchen so everything smells so fresh and clean all day every day! :) The last movie I cried in was the Sex and the City movie. Cliche? Maybe. But I seriously had leaky eye syndrome through the entire thing, but I didn’t mind. Afterall, who hasn’t grown attached to those four through the years?

Lily and her yellow bikini are the cutest thing ever!

    Have a great weekend :)

  8. I’m with Laura – “Sex and the City” was a tear-jerker for me!!! So silly, I know, but I could not hold it in! My nickname is waterworks though, so I guess it’s to be expected ;)

  9. The last movie I cried at was Sex and the City.

  10. While You Were Sleeping. I can watch it over and over, and I always cry at the wedding when she tells everyone how much she loves them and how nice it was to be in a family. — Michele

  11. I cry a lot at movies…even the ones that aren’t supposed to make you cry! Last one…August Rush…cute movie. I cry every time I watch 50 First Dates too! Ha! And LOVE those barrets!

  12. Any emotional scene makes me cry usually so tonight we caught the last 30 minutes of The Hulk (2002 version) where he’s been chased everywhere and she comes down the steps and he stops fighting/running and all the soldiers surrounding them. I was blubbing like a baby – again!

My all-time biggest blub-fest was Gorillas in the Mist though – never been able to watch it a second time!

  13. Hi Shelli! I love your tissue cozy and hair clips- SO cute!
Hmmm, the last movie I cried at would probably be when we watched Titanic again the other night. It’s been 10 years since I saw it and it was just so hard to see all those people die (when it based on reality it makes it so much harder for me). When the show the Mom reading to her children while they are going down it just hits me right where it matters.

Love you blog! Love your work! Smiles :)

  14. Cute blog and shop! The last movie I cried in was the Bucket List.

  15. I have to get a lemon balm plant too! It DOES smell so nice and its so pretty too. Hmmmm I wonder whether I could get one today. We waited from last December to last weekend for the Bucket List to finally come out in video. It was such a nice movie….it made me cry.

  16. I cried a little tear watching Sex And The City. I just loved it!
