Happy Wednesday!  Here’s my dolly in her brand spankin’ new cart cover, courtesy of Just a Little Off Center…I love how it turned out!  I sent my fabrics to this amazing lady and she whipped it up…aren’t the pears and apples so so cute?  If you have a little nugget and are a germ-a-phobe like me, stop in and get your cover, you wont regret it!

Well, yesterday, Lilybug and I went to lunch at Potbelly’s…yum!  Then we spent most of the afternoon shopping together (well, she better get used to it, right??).  Oh, the usuals for us….Target, Scrapbook Superstore, Gymboree, Baby Gap (nope, didn’t buy any clothes for her this time!), Pottery Barn, and….well, one more stop….Victoria’s Secret.  Do you think I ever buy bras there??  No, not really.  And their little semi-annual sale sign was pulling me and Bugs in…even though I knew deep down I should stay outta there!  And, if you know anything about me, you know that sometimes I can get obsessed on one thing and then I have to have SEVERAL of those things? See HERE for an example.

So, here is my current stack of Victoria’s Secret PINK pants …well, these are the 25 that are not currently in the wash.  I love these babies like I love me some Puppy Chow.  I guess I should just admit it–I am addicted to these pants!  If you own them, you already know what I’m talkin’ about and if you don’t, you’re missing out on the cutest comfies EVER made!

So, I told myself I am not gonna buy any more of these!!!  And, what do I do??

Yes, I bought these.  But, but….but they are SO soft and have rhinestones!  AND, they were on sale…..so, I justified it (bad bad bad).  I’m pretty sure I need some sort of therapy on these sort of obsessions.  Anyone a psychologist?

But, I do have to say that I have really CUT DOWN since Lily was born!

So…..ya think I’m crazy???  So be it!

And, you know I’m crazy about those dang owls, so here’s my latest….

Little hand cut collage’d up cuties, made into glass magnets….coming to the SHOP today…

They’ll be there, along with these cupcake cuties!

Make it a

happy Day!

  1. I love my cart cover too. I used it at lunch today on a high chair and it work perfect. See you at swimming!

  2. What a good idea someone came up with! I wish those had been around when my son was younger. The fabric is so cute and she looks adorable sitting there in the cart. My son loves Puppy Chow, I make it every Christmas and the recipe I have makes a ton…so we munch on it for days.

  3. Shelly, here is the recipe I use for Puppy Chow:
    1 stick butter
    6 oz choc chips
    1 c peanut butter
12 oz Crispix cereal but I buy the rice chex and corn chex and use about 3/4 of each box.
    2 c powdered sugar

Melt the first 3 ingredients and pour over the top of cereal. Use ziplock bag and pour covered cereal into bag and add powdered sugar. Shake until well coated.

Looks similar to the recipe you use except maybe the better.

  4. You are too funny! Cute cart cover…and cute little Lily sporting her Gymbo! Are they EVER going to come out with a new line?! It has been forever!!

The magnets are DARLING! As are the cupcakes!

  5. Ha, I thought the Puppy Chow was a joke…till I saw the recipe! That cart cover is awesome, I AM a germaphobe, but they didn’t have them around when my baby (now 6) needed them. Thank goodness they have those wipes at most stores now… Love the Owls & cupcakes!!

  6. Yeah, I’m not blogging but I still like to read!! :)
Aaaaaw, cute cover, cute munchkin!! My friend made me one and I’d get asked, “Oh, is he your first?” cuz evidently they thought it was super-obsessive. I’m like, “Yeah, but, ah, look who’s nose is running.” I have always had one healthy boy–due partly to the cart cover?? I’d like to think so. I’ll use it for the next, too, doggonit.
And lovely Etsy goodies, as always. I love everything you make!
Yeah, um, I absolutely would never wear anything–even pjs–that draw attention to the rear area, so God bless ya for pulling it off, as I’m sure you do!! It reminds me of the short cheerleader shorts my friend wore that I never touched with a ten-foot pole–the kind they’d roll up to make even shorter?? I never quite got it. Were you a cheerleader??? heehee
    To each her own–cute stuff!
