Clean Machine & the Unexpected Winner!

 Hi, Happy Sunday!

You see that chair?  That is where I was supposed to be stationed today…

But, my HUGE stack of papers and pictures sat around in a messy pile…..That pile may not look that big, but, trust me….there are about 100 papers and even more pics under there!  And that’s just Lily’s pile!  Yikes!

I even tried pacing myself by getting one of these box divider thingys….the plan was to put the next few “layout” goodies in each slot…..the papers, the embellishments, the pictures…everything I would need to get the job done, without having to think much….well, as you can see, I continue to use the HUGE MESSY PILE as my organizational method of choice.  I don’t even know what’s in this box anymore.

And I bought these cute CUTE Amy Butler scrapbooks….just to fill up with Lilybugs.  Don’t hold your breath!

Soooo…..instead of plopping myself in that chair today, I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned!  It’s amazing, now that Lily is eating somewhat solid foods, where I find the stuff.  Smashed bananas under cupboards, little “yogurt melts” in every crack and crevice of of her high chair, I even found some old avocado smeared all over the leg of our kitchen table that I hadn’t noticed……….do tell:  how does this happen when she only eats in one spot?  She must whip that stuff all over when I’m not looking.  Anyway, the house is clean….and ready for the week to come, so YAY!

I had a couple people ask about the vinyl that I used to make THESE TAGS….first of all, I purchased it at Joann Fabrics, and I believe it was a 16 gauge…it was either 16 or 20.  Here’s mine:

If anyone is interested, I can make a tutorial for those tags & post it here….let me know in a comment to this post!

After cleaning, I whipped up these cute lil sock monkey magnets, aren’t they cutie-patootie??  They’re hanging around the SHOP, so go see!

FREEBIE FRIDAY♥ drawing time!

Thank you to everyone who “signed up” to participate in this freebie!!  Lily had fun with this one!

She snatched up a name,  NO WAIT!make that 2 names!

I wasn’t expecting this!  Usually she just plucks up one name with her tiny fingers.  And, she had a kung fu grip on both names!  I couldn’t get them out of her hands, seriously!  The more I tried the tighter she squeezed!  So, what was I going to do???  Who’s gonna be the official winner if she picked 2 names??

Well, see those names??  Tabitha and Kimberly??

Here’s what I had to do…..

So, you’re BOTH winners.  I had more than enough to fill another bag with goodies.  And you’ll both get a felt hair pretty.  So, CONGRATS to you both!  Contact me thru e-mail or Etsy
and I can get these yummies to you asap!

Since next Friday is a holiday, I will start my ♥FREEBIE FRIDAY♥ on Thursday, the 3rd instead……and will run it thru the night of the 6th.  So, be on the lookout!

I wanted to leave you with this “feet” picture, dangit why are baby feet so cute??

Here’s to a great week ahead!

    D. Love the magnets. Love that they are big and not “choke-able”.
    E. Enjoy your Sunday.

  3. HI!! So the more I see of your craft room, the better I feel about my own stash! I love, love, love to shop (and of course buy because who loves to just look??!!), but I think you have me beat! Anyway, for that day I may just break out my sewing machine (should be soon…I have curtains to sew before the birthday party in three weeks!!), I would love to have the tutorial for the little tags! You are a gem my dear! And I think my exhaustion is catching up with me…can you tell?!!

    Have a great night!

  7. Oh how I love your space! I too have one of those boxes for your paper, thinking it would help me be organized……well it didn’t help. I still have piles of paper that I continue to horde :)
And totally agree that baby feet are the cutest! And the yummiest :)

  8. I, too, wish I could come play in your room!!! You’ve got such fun stuff!!! I’ll take tutorials on anything you offer, by the way–it’s aaaaallll good!
I can’t believe I WON! Actually…I can. I’m notorious for winning raffles/drawings/random prizes and I felt like I’d get this one–I really DO need those embellishments to go with the paper I just ordered from you! And I’m happy to share! :) I’ll convo you through Etsy. My mom JUST said, “When I have my (school) break, can we make some cards and sip coffee together?” Ah…YEAH!!! Thanks sooooo much!! Give Lily-boo a kiss for me! :)
