Just Been hangin’ Out…

Yesterday and today were fun “girls only” days for Lil and I……….we painted and ripped up papers yesterday morning and we went to lunch together at Cosi, where I talked and Lily listened. She’s at that stage right now where she STARES at people and I mean STARE. Her staring specialty right now is: men…old men, young men, baby men, groups of men, men with their significant others, men, men, men. She’s gotta thing for the guys I guess. It can be embarrasing, but really…whatever, right?
After lunch, we did a little shopping at Old Navy…and I gotta say this: sometimes their clothes are cute and sometimes they’re “meh, no thanks”. This season…not so good in my opinion. And I can usually find random “hip” polo shirts for the hubby there, but NOT TODAY. Here’s what I did see…
I’m sorry, but would your hubby/boyfriend wear these yellow floral shorts?
How about these turquoise & pink tee’s? NO WAY, Jose….wont be findin’ these on my hubby’s back. He wouldn’t even wear these for Halloween.
Sorry, Old Navy…..but what were you thinkin?? I love the 80’s as much as the next person, but the men’s side actually made my gasp out load, LOL!
Next, we went to our Baby Story Time at the library, which is pretty fun…we sing songs, watch puppets, shake noisemakers and listen to little board books. So so cute to see all the little babies together, she just loves it!
Fast forward to today…..another fun day since it’s been absolutely beautiful outside, pure perfection at 75-85 degrees and sunny! We went to lunch together again today, but spent most of our time outdoors, watering flowers and going for long walks….and splashing in Lily’s baby pool for the first time. It certainly wont be our last becasue she was in heaven! I had some super duper cute pics to share, too…but my camera’s “cord thingy” that allows me to transfer the pics onto my camera got wet today and now it’s not working!! I hate when stuff like that happens! So, I’m gonna have to let it dry out and see what happens….until then, NO CAMERA PICS 
Which means, NO ♥FREEBIE FRIDAY♥ (I was going to do it early, tomorrow because of the holiday), since I can’t get a shot of the goodies! I will resume the following Friday, assuming my camera’s “thingy” is working….
And, as if I didn’t have enough paper, here is some on my MUST HAVE, WISH LIST–it is YUMMY! I’m on wait list to get some! It’s this delicious deer and tree paper—here’s a pic of the front and back. Doncha love it??

Hope you get your camera cord working!! Or you may have to get that new camera sooner than you planned! And the weather there??? What I wouldn’t give…it is so miserably hot here. The kids start sweating the moment I get them in their carseats…it is horrible! Cherish these fun, fabulous days!!!

Whooooa, it was almost 100 degrees at 7:45 am this morning here!! I’m jealous!!
Yeah, my hubby wouldn’t be caught dead in that stuff–it’s awful!!

We are at 109 degrees right now….our pool feels like a warm bath
I’m wishin’ for the 80’s, but we probably won’t see it until after Halloween!
And I’m speechless at the Old Navy shirts, well not really….they are HORRIBLE!

oh and my hubby would wear the new york t-shirt and he might wear the shorts around the house and down the beach but i know he wouldn’t wear the pink shirt

my husband once told me (in jest, i think) he would divorce me if i ever served him Spam. i think he might repeat himself if i brought those clothes home for him to wear. he’d probably rather stay naked. LOL.

Before I read what you wrote I thought “those shorts would be really cute on Lulu.” Not on my husband. Or any man… ever! My husband wrote off Old Navy a few years back. It is only for the girls in this house now.
