Hellloooooo Friday! Here’s wishing you perfect weather for the entire weekend!
Look at this fortune I got with my thai peanut stir fry…
It was like a lucky number 7! So that brings me to my next “goal”…….I will be leaving WordPress. Yep, I have decided that WordPress isn’t quite the right fit for me. I’m not knocking it, it just doesn’t allow me to be as “creative” as I’d like. There are not as many options and bells and whistles. I will be making the move to Blogspot! I know that many of you are already there and I hope it’s as easy as you all make it look! My GOAL is to be there, up and running by next Friday, June 18th. Which means….if you currently have me on your blogroll (thank you ♥ so much!), you will have to update your link to find lil ‘ol me. I will keep you up to date!
Speaking of dates, my little fireball had a date with a newfound love: toilet paper…
She discovered it on one of her little journeys through the house. Should I have scolded her? Nah, not this time…..I saw it more as a scrapbook layout! Is it horrible to think I could never ever scold her? I know that day will come, but in her little 8 months of life, I think I’m happiest being the pushover!
And on the exciting news front….are you prepared to be super jealous?? Well…..do you remember waaaay back when…..when I posted RIGHT HERE about Savannah Lane Designs?? She was this newbie etsian ready to share her beautiful hats with the world….and I had her create this amazing “rainbow” hat for Lilyana….
and then she was even sweet enough to credit me with the rainbow color scheme…check it out: here!

Because so many of you went to her shop and put in special requests for her hats (you know who you are)…..
and now she offered me a COMPLIMENTARY hat of my choice! Wasn’t that super sweet of her?? I took her up on that offer and decided Lil needed a “fall” hat JUST like this one….

One of the many things I love about fall is the brisk, cool air on my skin. Living in South Mississippi it is a welcome sensation after the long, scorching summer heat.

Well, Living in Texas, You never know when Fall will be here! But when it does come, you know it. That cool brisk air blowing, Leaves turning those beautiful colors of gold, brown and red. Leaving your windows open!!! I love it. So when is it gonna be here already???? LOL

Those are the cutest hats! How nice of her to make you another one for Lily.
That’s funny about the toilet paper comment and that it was a scrapbook moment so you didn’t want to scold her…*smiles*…the things we do or don’t do sometimes for a kodak moment! At least she wasn’t eating it…lol.
Cute goodies Shelly as always, the deer paper and fabric is sweet.
Fall – Of course, the colors of fall are beatiful especially here in Oklahoma and the cooler air is wonderful. Especially going to some of the craft fairs, just walking around in the crisp air…seeing the pumpkins, eating kettle corn, it’s great!

I love that in the fall we can actually spend extended amounts of time outdoors without frying (I live in Arizona). I was also married in the fall so it brings back great memories.

OH MY is that hat the cutes!!! Both my kids are great hat wearers….is that even a proper word?! I will have to check out her shop for little Jilly
Fall is my absolute favorite season!! I start decorating September 1st – even though in Arizona it will still be sweltering!!
I LOVE anything pumpkin: decorations, the color, and anything made from it that is edible!! YUM!

Now about Fall…I have grown to love Fall more and more as I get older. I think my favorite part is getting to wear all my favorite fall clothes again!

What I love about fall? Well, I love seeing the leaves turn golden and fall to the ground.. and then the air gets a little cooler and crisper. And I get to start wearing sweaters again! I love wearing jackets and coats! They’re so cute to wear!! And scarves, and those hats like those adorable ones you have up there! What’s not to love?!

Fall is snuggling up on the couch watching movies and football with family around. Of course there is always yummy food to share. It sounds good but lets not rush the warm sunny weather (that we aren’t having today) away.

Those rings are REALLY REALLY fun! I used to wear rings all the time, but not so much these days! I guess I just need some cute ones to get me started!!
And I am one of those Savanah Lane hat followers! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that rainbow hat!! They are simply adorable and my lil’ Gentry girl looks darling in hers!! How kind of her to pay it forward and send you one!!
Oh…and the toilet paper incident?! We had the same thing with Huntler. He wasn’t one yet and I just took pictures like crazy! It is SO hard once they get really mobile and get into things…that is when the discipline came into play for us. That is really hard with your first!!

Oops…I forgot to post anything about fall! Silly me!
Out here in AZ I am not so much loving fall…it is just a continuation of summer. But back in Kansas, I LOVE it! The crisp weather, the crunching leaves, the cloudy days, the smell of a fireplace…
Man, I JUST e-mailed a dear friend last night and told her how “good” I was doing out here and not sad or homesick and I think I just made myself a little sad on that! Sometimes you forget what you miss until you actually write it down!

my favorite thing about fall is crocheting. i am really weird, but i feel like crocheting scarfs is more of a cold weather hobby, so i put it away during the spring and summer and take it out again once the leaves start to change. and i love crocheting scarfs to give away, and then….oooops, keeping them myself!

After a very hot summer in FL, we finally get cool around Halloween. For the last couple of years we have driven up to North Carolina for a family vacation, and that is definitely my favorite part of Fall.

I love Fall so it’s rather hard to pick one favorite… but I think I’ll go with this: deliciously cool and crisp, gorgeous days!
I use Blogger and really enjoy the nifty “ad-ons.” Another fun thing is that it’s super easy to change the backgrounds. There’s lots of free ones available online or you can create your own using a program like Adobe Photoshop.

Fall is an amazing time of year… colors, smells, textures, snuggles, and treats all seem to better. Must be why I was born in the fall, married in the fall and had one of my children in the fall.

Just found your blog today… my favorite thing about fall this year is that my husband will be home (hopefully)! He’s a firefighter, and has been gone for the last month and a half fighting the fires in Northern California. So, I am looking forward to fall this year so much!

That’s so funny–it’s been unusually stormy here in AZ today and I went over to my friend’s house and she said, “It’s cloudy and stormy so we need to burn a candle,” so she lit up “Mulled Cider” and we both said it smelled like fall and how we love fall…we’re with ya!!
Oooo, what DON’T I love about fall??? First of all, it’s when my birthday is, and my mom’s and now my son’s. There’s football…Thanksgiving…fall colors…changing leaves…I love it all!!

I LOVE fall! My one year anniversary will be this fall! But my favorite thing about fall is driving around looking at the leaves changing. My husband and I go somewhere within driving distance every fall for a day to look at all the leaves changing. And this fall, we’ll have a new baby. So I can’t wait to take him to the apple orchard! Hope your cutie picks me!

Great things that you have again. I have a son and he dislike wearing hats. Maybe next time. But the rainbow hat is so great.
About fall:
Love to pick up nuts, sitting at the fireplace, watching raindrops dropping down the window, eating warm chestnuts, walking along some emptied strand at the North- or East sea and visiting some harvest festival markets.
It will be a wonderful and exploring time again.

My favorite thing about fall is that it will be back to routine! Summer seems so crazy. My three girls are always off to somewhere it seems. We’ll be just as busy in the fall but I hope it will be more of an organized busy. (Hope that makes sense). So, I envision fall with more family time and the cooler weather will be nice too!

You always WOW me with your creations! I envy your talent. Those hats are fabulously adorable. I think my favorite thing about fall is all the different colors of leaves. I love to drive through the “tree streets” in our town and look at the amazing array of colors nature gives us. Your giveaways are the BESTEST by the way!
